Inspired by the Frost Fairs of the 18th Century, Hayman's have taken their sloe gin and added warming winter spices. Star anise, cinnamon and nutmeg. are added to make this gin a wonderful drink in the cold season. Mix with hot apple juice to make a winter warmer. On the nose hints of stewed berries, forest floor and a helping of toasty cinnamon. The palate has ginger and peppercorn, bolstered by earthy juniper and coriander. Strawberry and damson round out the palate, bringing ample sweetness. The finish has marzipan, plum jam and lingering leafy hints. Pair with East Imperial Yuzu Tonic.
