Made in Renmark, South Australia, in an area called Riverland, the distillery is part of an old area of land that a Chateau was once built to take advantage of the grape harvests. This later went under, but the grape producers banded together to buy the facility and continue on. In 2002, production ceased, but in 2016, new blood came along and built this amazing distillery. 10 botanicals are used in this gin, including local citrus. On the nose, juniper and lots of that local citrus, mandarin and coriander. Similar on the palate, but with lime on the back and spices supporting the sweetness and complexity. A very versatile gin that is great in cocktails, mixed drinks and makes for a brilliant G&T.
