Need a rum for more serious drinking, with the signature flavour profile of Angostura? Then check out this 7 year old, which has spent a minimum of 7 years aging in ex bourbon barrels. It boasts an intense, welcoming nose and palate, with darker notes of chocolate, raisin and vanilla. It is drier on the palate, but with more body, and notes of vanilla fudge and light mocha and cinnamon spice. Long finish of caramel and bitter chocolate and spice. This is a great rum to use in stirred drinks like an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
