Bruichladdich uses 2 different varietals of barley grown locally in 6 different areas on Islay to make this single malt, which showcases the unique terroir of the land. Ex-American whiskey casks and several sweet wine casks are used to age the whisky. They are then married together for 6 months before bottling. The nose is citrus fruity with seasalt spray. The palate shows off the barley with nuts, cocoa and orange peel. The finish has sea salr, and white flower floral notes. Enjoy with ice.
