Don Amado stick to tradition, which means they use a ceramic and bamboo pot still to make their mezcal, a tradition that goes back to the 16th century. This gives the mezcal a unique smoky and herbal bouquet. The Reposado is aged in Mexican brandy casks for 6 months, giving it a roasted corn nose with butter and vanilla. A palate of cinnamon, tropical fruits and dried chilies, which is balanced out by the smoke. Slightly spiced vanilla on the long finish.
