Helbings is one of Germany's largest spirit companies. It has been producing for more than 175 years. First with Kummel then with Aquavit. This isn't like Scandinavian Aquavit. Made from the original recipe but aged for 6 months in PX casks, this aquavit is limited to 45,000 bottles. Aromatic notes of anise, caraway, dill and liquorice. The palate has the caraway in the center with fennel aromas. In addition, the palate has vanilla, cloves, cardamom and white pepper. The spices and fennel round off the finish. Enjoy neat or chilled.
