This Japanese gin is made in the Kagoshima prefecture. They have been distilling shochu for over 130 years. Using this knowledge, they started to produce gin. One of the unique botanicals in this gin is Hojicha Tea. The tea is roasted so take away any caffeine bitterness. The other one is Hinoki, otherwise know as Japanese Cypress Wood. Rather forest-y, with roasted, leafy green tea alongside earthy juniper, leading into a touch of sweetness and a fragrant, woody finish. Great as a gin and tonic
