Douglas Laing has been independently bottling Scotch since 1948, and have several ranges that include blended malts, blended whiskies, single malts, and single grain. The Old Particular range consists of single cask malt or grain whiskies sourced from highly-sought after distilleries from all over Scotland, all non-chill filtered, with no added colouring and bottled at natural cask strength. This Ardmore malt has spent 21 years in a single hogshead refill cask, giving it a refined and elegant nature. A nose of heather, honey with gentle black pepper spice. The palate is that of heather, but with added roasted nuts, oily citrus and dark berry fruits. The finish is malty with hints of fading smoke.
