Douglas Laing has been independently bottling Scotch since 1948, and have several ranges that include blended malts, blended whiskies, single malts, and single grain. The Old Particular range consists of single cask malt or grain whiskies sourced from highly-sought after distilleries from all over Scotland, all non-chill filtered, with no added colouring and bottled at natural cask strength. Limited to only 114 bottles worldwide, this Auchentoshan Lowland malt has spent 21 years in a refill hogshead. On the nose, you get the sweetness of butterscotch, some citrus and stone fruit. The palate has vanilla and spiced milk chocolate. The spices bring a lovely finish to the whisky.
