Douglas Laing has been independently bottling Scotch since 1948, and have several ranges that include blended malts, blended whiskies, single malts, and single grain. The Old Particular range consists of single cask malt or grain whiskies sourced from highly-sought after distilleries from all over Scotland, all non-chill filtered, with no added colouring and bottled at natural cask strength. Located close to the River Lossie in Speyside, Glen Moray has been making whisky since 1897. Only 298 bottles of this 15YO single cask was released. A baked pastry nose with slight vegetal points and a hint of menthol. Chocolate notes on the palate, alongside more menthol and some lemony freshness. A lovely oak finish, with brown sugar touches of vanilla.
