Douglas Laing has been independently bottling Scotch since 1948, and have several ranges that include blended malts, blended whiskies, single malts, and single grain. The Old Particular range consists of single cask malt or grain whiskies sourced from highly-sought after distilleries from all over Scotland, all non-chill filtered, with no added colouring and bottled at natural cask strength. Ledaig is the smoky expression produced by the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. Only 261 bottles of this single cask were produced. On both the nose and palate, you get iconic flavours of the sea and coast, along with cured meats, smoke, tar and sea salt. The finish has spice and fresh pine. Add a drop of water to make it come alive!
