Douglas Laing has been independantly bottling Scotch since 1948, and have several ranges that include blended malts, blended whiskies, single malts, and single grain. The Provenance range marks the beginning of its Exceptional Single Casks journey, which encompasses four distinct, yet complementary ranges – Provenance, Premier Barrel, Old Particular and XOP – all meant to showcase the wide variety of flavours throughout Scotland's whisky regions. 391 bottles of this Benrinnes 10YO Speyside malt were released. Buttered bread and lemon jam on the nose, with oak also. The palate has notes of vanilla, nutmeg, honeycomb and malted barley. A nutty finish with vanilla and black pepper. Awesome neat.
