A gin made by a whisky distillery? Yes, The Botanist is distilled by Bruichladdich on the Scottish island of Islay, and contains 31 botanical, of which 22 are local to Islay and foraged. Even with that 31 botanical, the flavours don't clash at all, and instead come together to form a delicious, harmonious flavour. This is a stunning gin with classic juniper, spice and citrus notes, and works equally well in a cocktail as it does in a Gin and Tonic.
