GlenDronach has a fine reputation for great sherried scotches, and has a cult following among whisky lovers thanks to a great core range and and unique single cask releases. Each year, its Master Blender picks out a fine cask to be bottled as a single cask, which makes for a whisky with a unique DNA but also possesses classic GlenDronach flavours. The 25 Year Old 1993 bottling is cask No. 393, with only 611 bottles released and only for South East Asia. So get it while you can! A rather enjoyable vanilla, egg custard tart, with apricot pastry nose. Stone fruit and cherry also present. A dry palate but with fruit, sour raspberries and dark chocolate. A long finish with dry spice and oak. A stunning drop worthy of any collection.
