With a history dating back to 1897, Tomatin Distillery produces single malt Scotch with a legacy of exquisite fruity Highland notes. Part of the distillery's core range, the Tomatin 18 Year Old is first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in ex-Oloroso sherry butts. The nose is grape-y with winter spice, clove and cinnamon. Green flavours with hints of vanilla. The palate is sweet and full, with barley sugar and honey, with touches of chocolate and cocoa. The finish is dry, oaky and with touch of pepper. A great whisky to savour neat.
