Specially selected for Wholly Spirits, Malaysia, and part of Elixir Distilers’ Single Malts Of Scotland range. This 10 Year Old single cask Caol Ila single malt is was distilled in October 2012 and bottled in June 2021. Only 300 bottles of this exceptional whisky has been released.
The Single Malts of Scotland range consists of independent bottlings of vintage single malt Scotch from various distilleries and at a variety of ages.
A single cask Caol ila. This single cask single malt whisky was distilled at the Caol Ila distillery before being placed in a single ex Bourbon Hogshead and left to mature for 10 years. In June 2021 it was bottled at 57.6% abv by Elixir Distillers. Only 300 bottles were produced. Smoked fish, oysters, iodine on the nose. On the palate tart smoky lemony and chalk with hints of pink pepper. Big finish with smoke and length.
