This single malt is the flagship expression of the Akashi brand, made with slightly peated malt and then aged in 3 different types of cask. This makes for an interestingly unique whiskey, with a restrained nose of sweet spice, vanilla oak and hints of coconut. The palate is vanilla, oak, dry grass and green tea. Long finish of milk chocolate and white pepper. Serve on ice or long with soda.
