Marca Negra produce small varietal mezcals which naturally vary from batch to batch. The ABV is high, usually close to 50%, because that's the way the maestro mezcaleros prefer their spirits. San Martin isn't a widely-used varietal of agave, so for anyone looking something unusual or rare, this is it. Definitely one for the mezcal lover and aficionado , warming brown spices with pleasant smoky undercurrants, vegetal green flavours of moss hay grass and flecks of mint. The finish is long. This is meant to be enjoyed sipped.
