PRODUCT INFORMATION
Brugal hails from the Dominican Republic, where the rums are made from molasses. They use a column still to produce their rums, which results in a lighter flavoured rum. These styles or flavours, are great when using rums in punch-style cocktails or clean flavoured mixed drinks. This rum has spent a bit longer in barrels than the Extra Dry and it hasn't been filtered, so it still has a great depth of colour. Very versatile rum, so can be used in mixed drinks, cocktails or drunk neat. The nose has crème brûlee and mocha coffee notes with banana and oak. The crème brûlee sugar top is more distinct on the palate with coffee and dry black pepper also apparent. The finish is dry and oaky.
