Distilled in Scotland. A gently sherried blend of single malt whiskies from Highland and Speyside. Nothing younger than seven years. No grain whisky. No caramel. No chill filtering. An honest Scotch whisky made well and suitable for both cocktails and sipping. The flavour is initially light and fresh, hints of cut grass and malt, and on the palate this whisky really shows its chops. Broad and pleasingly oily, you can tell this has been designed to stand up against mixers if it needs to. Although moreish, finishes well with honey, soft vanilla and dried fruits lingering. The sherry influence is there, but it's subtle.
