Berry Bros. & Rudd are London's oldest wine and spirits merchants in London, and have been trading from the same shop in St James since 1698. This blended malt is part of their Classics Range, which showcases the different regions and styles of Scotch. A blend of the some of the most iconic distilleries on Islay, the Islay Blended Malt is all about the peat and smoke. On the nose, it has the classic notes of salty air, iodine and earthy peat, with touches of smoke and malted barley. The palate is big on smoke with cereal sweetness and vanilla floating underneath. Touches of peppery spice. The peat is lingering on the finish with charcoal sea salt and spice. Drink neat or on ice.
