The flagship of the Chairman's Reserve style, this rum is made of aged Coffey and pot still distillates. The maturation is a bit different â€“ instead of blending everything together and then ageing, each batch of rum from each type of still is aged in casks first, then married together and further aged for 6 months before bottling. The average age is around 5 years. Cooked bananas, caramelizedÂ fruit with oak and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, we have chocolate, raisin, tobaccosÂ and clove. Medium finish of oak and spice. Like the white rum, very versatile. and great in all rum drinks. Can be served neat also.
