PRODUCT INFORMATION
V.S.O.P or Very Special Old Pale is a category used to define the ages in Cognac and Agricole Rhum. It means that the youngest liquid in the blend has to be 4 years old. Here, the rhum is aged in Virgin Limounsin barriques and re-charred bourbon barrels, which not only helps in the colour of the rhum but the flavours as well. On the nose, caramel, spices of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and cooked fruit aromas. This leads into a palate of coconut and banana creme brulee, nuttiness and dried fruits. The finish is long with charred sugarcane, coconut, custard and peppery spice. Great on its own, or in stirred drinks.
