Glenfiddich, which means 'The Valley of the Deer', has been making their signature single malt since 1887. Inspired by the sherry bodegas of Spain, this 15 year old single malt is first aged in 3 different casks (American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and virgin oak), and then married in a Solera vat – a large oak tun that has been kept half full since 1998. This is also the first 15YO single malt to the enter the world's top ten best selling single malts. The unique aging process gives this a complex aroma, with sweet honey, fudge and dark rich fruits. Multi-layered fruit and raisins with sherry and spice coat your palate, and the cocoa finish has a lingering sweetness. Again, best enjoyed whichever way you prefer.
