PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Select refers to a number of whiskies selected from different casks to created this softer more restrained softer version of Laphroaig. This includes Oloroso Sherry butts, white American oak, Pedro Ximenez seasoned hoggies, Quarter casks and first fill bourbon casks. On the nose, classic medicinal notes with chocolate-ly and and citrus notes. On the palate the peat is more subtle, letting the citrus and fruit notes shine through more. The darker spices come through in the back palate. The finish is medium in length with fading peat. Great neat!
