Michter's heritage harks back to America's first whiskey company, making some of the finest single barrel and truly small batch whiskeys around. This Rye whiskey is sourced from a single barrel, so each bottle is slightly different. The nose is very aromatic and fresh, leaning towards menthol/mint with the spice coming through. The taste - very smooth for a rye, touches of spicy pepper, caraway and fennel with hints of citrus. The finish is dry and spicy. Use this to make an awesome Sazerac!
