Douglas Laing has been independantly bottling Scotch since 1948, and have several ranges that include blended malts, blended whiskies, single malts, and single grain. The Old Particular range consists of single cask malt or grain whiskies sourced from highly-sought after distilleries from all over Scotland, all non-chill filtered, with no added colouring and bottled at natural cask strength. Onle 316 bottles of this 13-year-old Dalmore single cask were released. It has a sweet cereal nose with underripe pear, apple pastries and spiced orange. A palate of butter and ginger, sour pineapple, sweet pear and candied ginger. The finish has sweet cinnamon, toast malt and oak.
