PRODUCT INFORMATION
GlenDronach has a fine reputation for great sherried scotches, and has a cult following among whisky lovers thanks to a great core range and and unique single cask releases. The distillery has also been releasing Cask Strength batches of their whiskies. Batch 8 is bottled at a whopping 61% ABV, and aged in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Casks. A darker nose compared to Batch 7, with more oak and vanilla coming through. The dark fruits of cherry and dates on the palate make this a wonderful dram. Touches of caramel and praline also evident. Leather tobaccos and dark chocolate on the finish. Amazing.
