With a history dating back to 1897, Tomatin Distillery produces single malt Scotch with a legacy of exquisite fruity Highland notes. Part of the distillery's core range, the Tomatin 14 Year Old is first matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in selected port pipes. The port influence gives this whisky a pungent nose of red berries grapes, vanilla and white pepper. The palate is sweet and full. Victoria sponge cake, raspberry jam and custard. Toasted nuts as well. The finish is fruity with soft tannins and pleasent oak. Great neat or on ice.
