Douglas Laing has been independantly bottling Scotch since 1948, and have several ranges that include blended malts, blended whiskies, single malts, and single grain. The Old Particular range consists of single cask malt or grain whiskies sourced from highly-sought after distilleries from all over Scotland, all non-chill filtered, with no added colouring and bottled at natural cask strength. Glengoyne is known for a bright, complex yet delicate style of whisky, and this 14 YO single cask is testament to that. 337 bottles of this were made. A honeyed nose with candle wax. Oaky palate leading into apricots and honeydew melon. A spicy peppercorn finish with a touch of lempnade. Awesome!
