PRODUCT INFORMATION
Established in 1826, Old Pulteney is one of the most northerly distilleries on the Scottish mainland, and are well-known for their maritime influenced spirit. This non-age statement has been matured in peated whisky casks, which gives the malt some light smokiness alongside the classic flavours of Old Pulteney. (Fun fact: Huddart isn't a famous person or quirk of the distillery, just the name of the road it's on). A gorgeous nose of caramelized apple, touches of bonfire smoke backed by vanilla. A fruity palate but with dark brown sugar to add balance. The smoke is light on the finish and disappears with honey and malt. Great for highballs.
