PRODUCT INFORMATION
The GlenDronach has a fine reputation for great sherried scotches, and has a cult following among whisky lovers thanks to a great core range and and unique single cask releases. The core range is non-chill filtered, with no colouring added. This whisky harks back to the days, over 200 years ago, when they used to burn peat towards the end of the kilning process. Still aged in Sherry and Port casks. So expect the usual high standard but this time with peat! On the nose treacle, orange candy, honey, liquorice and smoky oak. On the palate flamed orange peel and maple syrup, clove-studded orange and cooked orchard fruits. The finish has smoked barley alongside juicy forest fruits. Great neat.
