Italy's best selling coffee liqueur is still made to the original 150 year old recipe, using a blend of Arabica and Robusto from 3 distinct regions of Italy. This makes for a wonderful blend of coffee. The beans are blended, steeped in alcohol, and then sweetened with sugar. Nothing else is used. This result is an intense espresso flavour – smoke, walnuts, cacao and roasted coffee. The taste has intense bitterness, hickory and chocolate.
