You've probably heard of Patron, arguably the first ever premium tequila brand. Bottled in handmade, individually-numbered bottles and with sustainable cork stoppers, it is considered one of the best tequilas in the market. The Platinum is part of the blanco category, which means less than 2 months aged, which Patron do in Oak tanks. This will impart an Oak flavour and slightly mellow it out. The Platinum is crystal clear which means it has been charcoal filtered to remove the colour. Triple distilled to create a smoother tequila. The nose has fresh agave, citrus and white pepper. The palate is similar with light citrus notes and fruit, very smooth mouth feel. A long last black pepper finish. Enjoy neat, on ice, or in a mixed drink.
