Luxardo really know their cherries. Once harvested in the summer, part of the juice is left to ferment naturally. Once it reaches the right ABV, neutral alcohol is added to stop the fermentation, and the liquid is then aged. This deep ruby red spirit can be enjoyed neat over ice or even with cheese! It can also be used for classic cocktails such as a Blood and Sand or a Singapore Sling. Pungent cherry with hints of marzipan. Intense thick cherry sweetness offset by its natural tartness. Very concentrated cherry. The finish is long with cherry jam and touches of black pepper.
