Made by Dunnet Bay Distillers all the way up in North Scotland, this wonderfully floral gin gets its name from the Rhodiola Rosea, or rock rose, which the Vikings used to harvest because it was thought to give them the extra strength to continue on their long arduous journeys. Other locally foraged botanicals in the gin include rowan berries, sea buckthorn, and verbena. This Spring Edition of the gin is cool and refreshing, with the addition of Coltsfoot (provides sweetness), gorse flower (a lovely coconut aroma) and dandelion (earthy liquorice flavours). Bright and fresh with hints of lime. Herbaceous with real citrus and juniper coming to the fore. Finishes with a burst of cooling freshness.
