Luxardo have been producing a juniper distillate sine 1833! However, they only started making gin around 1900. Although it's made in Italy, this is a classic London dry gin, with the citrus and juniper ever present. After distillation, the gin goes through a 19-day refinement process. Delicious bergamot nose, floral aromas and piney juniper and woody notes. Soft mouthfeel, pronounced juniper and zesty orange. Floral Parma Violets, black tea and spice. Slight citrus in the finish. Great in cocktails, especially those that use maraschino liqueur. We would recommend East Imperial Burma Tonic and Grapefruit for a great G&T.
